Midwest Drift Union Rd2 Results: STL and Frenchtown setting the pace.

After two rounds of Midwest Drift Union™ Pro*Am competition, the local boys have stacked the top 10. We have some strong competition amongst our ranks, from the bottom up:
Steiner, Crangle, Topping, O'Mara, Sommer, Alfaro*.

Rolo came out on top with 35 competition points and a 1st place podium finish in Saturdays competition, held at Mid America Motorplex in Pacific Junction, Iowa. That's a 7 point improvement over his second place finish in Round 1 at Gateway MSP.

Brian Peters fell short of 1st place this round ending up with 28/44 points.

Steve Topping slams into Round 2, fresh off of some first-round-ending mechanical issues, to take home 25 points and solid third place on the podium.

The Lords of French Town, Dan Sommer, Mike O'Mara and Kyle Crangle, all sporting some freshly tuned set-ups made an apparent team effort to fsu in Rd2, two of them accruing some decent points, with Sommer and O'Mara in 4th and 5th respectively. Watch for the Nocturnal Motorworks / JDMHookup crew to turn it up to 11 in Round 3 at Heartland Park, Topeka, on June 14th.
